Project Overview

  • Project Goal

    The goal of Bunny Bungalow was to create a cozy farming game that could help to encourage a healthier lifestyle and mindset. I wanted to build effective time management techniques into the game loop to showcase their benefits in planning and executing tasks.

    The Power of To-Do Lists

    I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, and I didn’t have effective tools to manage it. I discovered the power of making lists for myself, and this helped me to organize my tasks and actually complete them. Video games often do this implicitly, through various systems, but I wanted to explore it in a more obvious sense as a core mechanic.

  • Aesthetic Goals

    I wanted to make the game feel cozy, welcoming, and playful. I chose a full animal cast and made my character concepts more round and cute. The full game would focus on story elements and would be a character driven storyline.
