When the world is in peril, there is only one rat who can save them. Take on the role of Rhyder Ryden, a rat with a very particular set of skills and save the human race from the shadows. Featuring fully voiced comic cutscenes and original music.
Game Creation & Process
Planning
Seeing as this was a game jam, we immediately started with ideation and role assignment. Once we had an idea that we liked, we started making a schedule for the weekend and assigning tasks.
Process
While we were developing the game, we frequently tested what we implemented to decide if there were design changes that needed to be made. We made sure that each aspect of the game fit with our vision and the pacing of the gameplay loop, this included testing cutscene pacing, music, and various aspects of the movement and actions in the game.
Result
After we completed the game, we submitted it to the Extra credits game jam and we were one of the most popular games submitted after the first 3 days.
